Pride & Prejudice Mini Series Marathon

Capitol Theatre, Fort Edmonton Park

A full day of Jane Austen fun in the historic Capitol Theatre at Fort Edmonton Park. All six episodes of the BBC classic Pride & Prejudice will be shown on the big screen with a single break for afternoon tea and carriage rides. Period costume is welcome but in no way required.

Admission to the show is free, as a requirement of our license from the BBC. Event packages include priority seating. Admission for those who do not have an event package will be on a first-come, first-served basis once all guests with an event package have been seated.

Our pre-show reception in the lobby of the theatre will begin at 12:00 noon, one hour before the screening begins. This includes live music, book signings and a cash bar serving hot drinks, soft drinks and wine. The pre-show reception is open to all guests who have purchased an event package.

House doors leading into the theatre seating will open at 12:30 for those attending the pre-show reception. 

The lobby will open at 12:55, five minutes before the show begins, for those who have not purchased a package. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to space.

Guests will be prompted to provide dietary restrictions on check-out for the event packages that include food, and all dietary restrictions can be accommodated. If you have any questions at all, please email us at regencyencounters@gmail.com.

Please note that Fort Edmonton Park does not allow any outside food or drink. Bar service will be available during intermission and during the pre-show reception, but there will be no concession on site serving food. 

There is free parking on site. Please use the Service Entrance, sign posted for Hotel Selkirk. An attendant at the gate will guide you to the assigned parking area.
